The safest and cheapest method of getting rid of fleas is to use a mixture of boric acid and salt. Boric acid acts as a desiccant and dries out the exoskeleton of the flea, but does not have any side effect on human beings or animals.

this may be sand flys that are bothering your pets, go to a plant nursery and tell them the problem, I am sure they will have something you can use. Remember that sometimes for the sake of your animals you can't always use natural products
good luck, I lived in Savannah many years ago and got eaten alive by what they called nats

first thing is to make sure the animals are treated with either frontline or advantage. not sure I would go with the looks of a totally dusted yard with Sevin. Any general insecticide that you attach to the garden hose will be effective, but because of the dirt/sand it will need to be repeated every 10 days for probably 3 applications Follow label instructions and keep the dog off the yard until dry and there should be no issues. you probably can find a Pyrethrin product to use, but there will be no residual so probably will have to re apply sooner than the with the other products.

<a href="http://naturalpetremediesweb.com/">Natural Pet Remedies</a>

You can get Seven. Sevin 5 is just flea powder and dust it around. Fleas also don't like soap and I shampoo my dogs in Dove dish soap and it kills them. Firemen use Dove here to get rid of bees. That the lightest way I know to get rid of them. Fleas sure like it when its dry out too. there is also some type of nematod you can put out that will kill fleas but you will have to find that one on the internet. My friend does that and has NO fleas.

Go to a hardware or garden score purchase some "Sevin-5" dust..It comes in 5 lb packages.. The directions are on the bag..buy plenty..you can always use what's left next yr or on your garden.. It's a "safe" product. Of course you know you will also have to treat your pets, and where they are housed.
