Bathe the animal with water and dish soap. This kills the fleas. Leave it on for a few minutes. After you have rinsed the animal, then you must go over the head, ears, nose and any other areas where the water did not get with a metal flea comb. You will see all the survivors running for dry territory. Dip the comb into a cup with water/dish soap in it to kill them so they don&#039;t jump off. Vacuum the carpeting each day to remove the fleas and their eggs. Repeat the dish soap bath in about two weeks to remove any new hatchlings. Keep vacuuming.</description>
