You have 40 acres you do have pets some place passing thru living under home previous owner etc. or from out side it doesn’t matter.Lowes/Home Depot have a wonder full carpet powder available sprinkle on floor carpet follow directions I think 2-4 hours enough time for some happy meals and a cone. return and vacuum up. Worked for me and I have. Dogs-Cats-Horses-Mice and every thing else you can think of.
