Natural Pet Remedies

Motor oil to treat mange is one that comes to mind, although it isn't really "natural." Some ones that DO work are slippery elm for diarrhea or other intestinal problems, honey for a cough and some herbs can help fight cancer. Also, milk thistle is very well known for it's ability to rejuvenate the liver, ginger is great for nausea and cinnamon for diabetes. And oatmeal for itchy skin, vinegar and witch hazel for ear problems, fish oil for a poor coat, glucosamine and chondroitin for joints........the list goes on and on. There are as many natural products that work as there are conventional ones that don't.

Dog Meds

All Natural Norwegian kelp works really well for dogs. Great for coats, and a whole lot of other stuff that im drawing a blank on right now.

Things too avoid yeah garlic in large quantities. I dont really believe that natural remedies can heal things like cancer or other ailments.

I saw a question awhile back from someone who wanted to use herbs to treat her dog's cancer. I felt bad for the poor dog; instead of getting the treatment he needs, he was suffering and being given nothing but ginkgo, or some crap like that. You're right, people are idiots when it comes to "natural" remedies.

My dog gets a dried up cracked nose a lot and it looks so painful. I put some JoJoba oil on it for a few days and then he his nose heals perfectly. I highly recommend that.
